The Cromlix
Dunblane, Scotland
Client: Garuda Design
Project Type: Bedroom Area Artwork

project summary
Art Loves was commissioned to create, source and install all bedroom artwork for the newly reimagined Cromlix in Dunblane, Scotland - Andy Murray’s country house hotel, set within a 34-acre woodland estate.
As part of the hotel’s extensive estate-wide renovation, we worked closely with the design vision led by interior designer Suzanne Garuda. Our brief was to curate a collection that felt deeply rooted in the surrounding landscape while reflecting the refined, contemporary character of the redesigned hotel.
Drawing inspiration from the woodlands, natural textures and the quiet elegance of the countryside setting, we developed a bespoke artwork scheme for the guestrooms that blends crafted simplicity with thoughtful storytelling. The resulting collection features a mix of commissioned pieces, hand-selected works from Scottish artists and nature-inspired prints chosen to complement the serene interior palette
.
The completed scheme adds warmth, texture and narrative to the guestrooms, supporting Cromlix’s vision of a tranquil sanctuary for guests to relax, restore and rejuvenate.
