Belfast, Northern Ireland
Project Type: Public Art Piece
This project is called ‘Living Barrels’ by artist Sylvain Ristori for Jameson Whiskey and is displayed on the side of the national bar in Belfast. Sylvian is an artist who’s primary focus is working with recycles or found materials. He chose to create this sculpture of three faces from used Jameson’s Barrel staves. ‘Living Barrels’ represents the people that work together to make Jameson’s offering a sense of community spirit, and the conviviality of the brand itself so it’s fitting it has been created for everyone to enjoy.
